HOW TO USE: you will be amazed by how quick and easy it is to apply your Flash Tattoo with the help of a little water.
Step 1: Clean and dry skin. You want to make sure your skin is clean, dry and free of any oils or the tattoo will not adhere. If you have lotion or any products on (even from hours earlier), use a little soap and water or a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol to clean the area.
Step 2: Cut out the tattoo as close to the edge as possible (this is important later when you need to line it up). If you are applying a band that will be worn as a bracelet, anklet, or arm band, trim the tattoo to size if it needs to be adjusted while the protective liner is still in place.
Step 3: Once it is properly trimmed, remove the clear sheet. For best application, ask a friend to help position your Flash Tattoo so your skin does not twist or stretch. Place the tattoo face down on your skin and hold a wet cloth against it for about 30 seconds. Peel the paper aside then pat gently with the wet cloth. Tada! Be sure not to twist or stretch skin until the tattoo has had time to set (at least 10 minutes). Flash Tattoos look best after they have had an hour or two to set into the skin.
Step 4: Now it's time to apply the crystals! Crystals should be applied carefully, one at a time, after you apply your Flash Tattoo. Clean and dry the area of skin to which crystals will be applied. Remove the clear film off the top of the crystal and use tweezers to lift the crystal off the white film. Place the stone on your skin, but do not apply the crystal on top of the Flash Tattoo, otherwise the adhesive backing on the crystal will strip away the tattoo when the crystal falls off or needs to be adjusted. Gently hold the crystal to your skin for 10 seconds to allow the crystal to warm and adhere to your skin.
Step 4 (alternate): If you don’t have tweezers on hand, use scissors to cut and trim as close as possible around the individual crystal, keeping both the white and clear film in tact. Carefully peel away the white protective film. Make sure all stones adhere to the transparent sheet. Apply the crystal as close as possible without touching the Flash Tattoo, and firmly press the crystal onto the skin. Do not let the clear sheet on top of the crystal make contact with the tattoo, as damage to the tattoo may occur. Gently hold for 10 seconds to allow the crystal to warm on your skin. Carefully peel away the transparent film from the skin. Press firmly on the stones to ensure they stay.
CLEANING AND CARE: your Flash Tattoo will last about 4-6 days, depending on where they are placed and how well you take care of them. To care for your Flash avoid any soap, sunscreen, lotions or oils near or on your tattoo. These types of oil-based substances will begin to degrade the adhesive. Flash Tattoos are safe for the skin, non-toxic and safe for anyone to wear. Do not apply to sensitive skin, near eyes, or if you are allergic to adhesives. To remove your Flash Tattoo, simply soak your skin in baby oil, olive oil or coconut oil for one minute then gently scrub off. Repeat as necessary. Apply lotion to moisturize and soothe the skin area. The back of the package contains simple instructions on how to apply and remove tattoo.
